Anthony was born in San Antonio, Texas, to Erik Anthony Sanchez and Corinna Caldwell. From the moment he entered the world, he brought energy, laughter, and light to the people around him. Anthony had a natural ability to make others smile. With his fun-loving spirit and kind heart, he was often the life of the party, the one who could lift the mood of any room and make people feel like family.
More than anything, Anthony was a proud and devoted father. His son, Amirr Anthony Sanchez, was the greatest joy of his life. Anthony loved deeply and fully, and he cherished every moment he spent with his son.
Anthony is survived by his loving partner, Monzerrat Barrera; his son, Amirr Anthony Sanchez; his parents, Erik Anthony Sanchez and Corinna Caldwell; and his siblings, Gabriel Sanchez, Adrianna Sanchez, and Hector Sanchez. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rudolpho Perez.
Anthony worked as Concrete Wet Finisher at Tindall. In his free time, he enjoyed playing his video games, spending time with his son; teaching him how to play with hot wheels cars while watching Toy Story but most importantly spending time with the people he loved most was his favorite thing to do.
The family will receive guests from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 at 6:00 PM at Porter Loring Mortuary, located at 1101 McCullough Avenue in San Antonio. A memorial service celebrating Anthony’s life will follow at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, and donations please reach out to Monzerrat Barrera.
Though Anthony’s time with us was far too short, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the joy he brought to those around him will never be forgotten. His greatest legacy lives on in his son, who will forever carry a piece of his father’s spirit, strength, and love.
