He was preceded in death by his parents, Christina and Nicholas Wilson as well as his two siblings, Angelina and Nick, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Merlene Parker Wilson; three children: daughter, Amy Wilson and partner Sherri Opiel; daughter, Sarah Neathery; son, Parker Wilson and wife, Shelley Faris; two grandsons, Stephen Anthony Neathery and Brian Kyle Neathery.
After getting his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in Austin, Tony graduated from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1953. In 1961, the newly married couple moved to San Antonio where Tony established a very successful Ear, Nose and Throat practice that spanned over 30 years. Tony loved his family, his practice of medicine, hunting, fishing and restoring classic cars. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
