Arlene Mae Zitello

Arlene Mae Zitello, "Mumsy," born on March 1, 1934 in Berwyn, Illinois to Marie Slauf and Jerry Davidek, went to her heavenly home on Monday, Sept. 9, 2013. Quite a reunion she must have had that day!!!

She was an awesome mom, who had "perfect" love for her kids, husband, grandkids, sisters, other family and friends. She was a "BEST FRIEND" to many. You could always count on her. She was very organized and was clutter's worst enemy! She was, "ONE-OF-A-KIND". She was beautiful, heaven's movie star. She was smart, sassy, talented, loving and kind, but never a pushover! She was a Nurse and Office Manager for 4 doctors for over thirty-five years. Some of her patients, who adored and requested her, used to

called her "Sarge".

She loved Politics and Western Movies, and was an avid reader before her physical sight was dimmed. The consolation is that her Spiritual sight was brightened in the last 10 years of her life and she really became very close to God in the last 3 years. She used to make hats that were sold on Michigan Avenue in Chicago and she was also quite a seamstress. She learned from her mom and older sisters.

Mumsy could be as tough as nails, but she had a very soft side that those who adored her found very comforting.

Mumsy is survived by her 3 children, Mike, Nadine and Rob, her 3 grandchildren, Michael, Gianna, and Rena, her 2 sisters, Mildred and Char, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends, who considered her their favorite aunt or their best friend. Her family and friends were blessed to know her and blessed to have been a part of her "perfect" love. God refined her and prepared her to know His love and to walk in forgiveness and he set her free for her homecoming!

Mumsy will always be remembered for her feistiness and caring heart. We know for sure that God prepared a mansion and a banquet for her return.
