Arturo Arturo Huerta, Sr.

Arturo is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Olivia Huerta, his children: Arturo Huerta Jr., Elizabeth Huerta-Tackett, Anthony Huerta, Wendy Huerta-Almarez, his thirteen grandchildren: Daniel, Anthony, Sean, Marissa, Vincent, Julia, Madison, Eric, James, Isaac, Josh, Alec, and Ella, as well as many other friends and family he cared for. He is predeceased by his parents and three siblings.

Arturo was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who would do everything in his power to protect and care for those he loved. He loved his kids, adored his grandkids, and most of all, he made it his life’s work to love, honor, and cherish his wife. He was an avid reader and had a passion for learning. He was a proud Marine, a former Border Patrol Agent, and Bexar County Sheriff’s deputy. He will be deeply missed by his family and all that knew him.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am 12:00 pm, Saturday, September 17, at Porter Loring Mortuary West. A Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Porter Loring West 1710 W Loop 1604, San Antonio, TX 78251.
