Aurelia J. Moore

Aurelia J. Moore went to be with the Lord on February 7, 2018. She was born to Arthur and Mamie Morrow on January 13, 1925 in Wortham, Texas. Mrs. Moore was an elementary school teacher for over 25 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles L. Moore; her brother, A. D. Morrow Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Rebecca Moore. She is survived by her children, Charles L. Moore Jr., Charlotte Anne Marshall and her husband, Charles, and Rev. David E. Moore and his wife, Gennie. Grandchildren include Charlotte Moore Hudlow and her husband James, Benjamin Moore, Charles Marshall Jr., Charanne Marshall, Erin Moore Wright and her husband Walt, Katye Moore, and Gloriana Moore. Great grandchildren are Preston, Peyton and Mia Hudlow, Brooklyn Wright, and Audrey Albia. She is also survived by a host of friends and loving caregivers.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 12 from 6-8 pm at Sunset Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, February 13 at 1:00 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
