She was known for her out-spoken, but loving ways and her pride in her family. She was active in the United Methodist Church all her life and was especially proud that both of her children were United Methodist pastors, though she would take little responsibility for that fact. She was a loving and beloved wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Dwayne Freeto, a tragedy she grieved the rest of her life.
Barbara is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Neale; daughter, Sharon Freeto and Bill Irwin; son, Carl Freeto and wife Linda; grandchild: Charles Freeto; step-grandchildren, Amy Ball and Emily Irwin; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Bruce Papps; and sister, Dorothy LaBont.
She would be greatly embarrassed for this obituary to go on any longer!
