Barbara E. McCarthy, age 76, of San Antonio, died Tuesday, August 28, 2001. She was a secretary for Annandale United Methodist Church for numerous years. She was very active in church activities. Survivors: husband, George E. McCarthy; daughter, Heidi Ellen Miller and husband Richard; grandson, Darren Miller, all of San Antonio, TX; brother, Paul Van Loon, Pittsfield, MA.
