Barbara M. Miller

Barbara M. Miller, age 83, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Thursday, October 16, 2014. She graduated from Trinity University in 1952 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education and taught for 21 years in public education.

Barbara married William C. Miller Jr. in 1953, and they were married for 44 years until his passing in 1998. She is survived by a son, William C. Miller III; daughters, Sheri Miller and Diane Fasenmyer; son-in-law Jeff Fasenmyer; grandchildren, Matthew Miller, Joel Fasenmyer, Jeremy Fasenmyer and Zachary Fasenmyer; nephews and nieces, John Miller, Brian Miller, Terry Behal, Lori Tafolla, Cindy Odom and Karen Jackuback. She was very dedicated to her family, and loved them dearly. Barbara gave generously, lived out her faith and lived as an example of kindness and gentleness. She was gifted at loving the unlovable. She was very involved with the Wayside Chapel Widows' Ministry and enjoyed visiting the homebound. Barbara attended Oak Hills Church.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 23, from 10:30 A.M. to Noon and from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2102 North Loop 1604 East.
