
Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend Bea, was promoted to be with the Lord on March 28, 2025. Bea was born in Maunaloa, Molokai on February 16, 1934 to Isao and Haruko Kawamoto. She grew up in Waimanalo, Oahu.
Bea met Sergeant Robert L. Stutevoss at the Presidio in San Francisco, CA where she worked. They were married on January of 1957. They were blessed with three sons, Mike, Carl and Jeff.
In 1972, after traveling throughout Europe and being stationed by the military in Okinawa, Bea and her family made San Antonio, Texas their home. Bea was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and crafting. She specially loved Mexican food and spending time with her dear friends and cherished family.
Bea was preceded by her parents, husband, sister Grace Manliguis, brother Norman Kawamoto, and son Mike Stutevoss. She is survived by her son Carl, and partner Sharon Rios, son Jeff and daughter in law Diana, granddaughter Savannah, Sister Helen and husband Ed Buono, Sister Ethel Shiroma and husband Ray Shiroma, and numerous nephews, and nieces.
Bea was blessed with an abundance of caring and supportive family and friends. We thank God for her life.
