On Monday, May 27, 2019, The Campos Family lost their beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle Benito Campos. He was born on August 6th, 1945 in Hondo, Texas to Pedro and Angelita Campos. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 32 yrs, Maria Campos; his two daughters, Heather Campos and Amber Campos; brothers and sisters, Eliseo Campos, Mary Gomez (Roger), Gloria Rodriguez, Jane Guerrero (Silverio), Eva Almendarez (Juan), Efrain Campos (Gloria), Mimi Trevino (Jerry); his Mother and Father-in-Law, many brother and sister-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
He has joined his father Pedro Campos, mother Angelita Campos; brothers Adolfo Campos, Armando Campos, and Pedro Campos Jr.; brother in law Timoteo Rodriguez, and sister in law Amparo Campos in heaven.
He was an Army Veteran and proudly served his country for 30 years. For Benito, God always came first, his wife and his daughters were his world, he was THE biggest Dallas Cowboys fan there was, he spent all his money on scratch offs, took pride in his yard, and loved good barbecue.
His sudden passing will leave a hole in our hearts and he will be greatly missed, but we are certain he is now in heaven watching over us.
