Benjamin David Davison

Benjamin David Davison passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 5, 2010, at the age of 82.

Ben was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Club Giraud, Arabian Shriners, and was a Master Mason. Ben was a former member of Society of Exploration Geophysics and was a Veteran of the U.S. Naval Air Corps.

Ben was preceded in death by his beloved son, Glenn. He is survived by his wife, Carrie; daughters, Sandra Conner and Vicki Davison; stepchildren, Pat Spollin, Sandra Simonds and husband, Donald, Lisa Moore and husband, Roger, Matthew Spollin; grandchildren, Tracy Reedy, Blake and Hayley Moore; and uncle, LTC. Arthur Newton. Ben was a very special devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him and will be dearly missed.

The family expresses deep gratitude and appreciation for the excellent compassionate care given to Ben by Dr. Paul H. Smith, Jr., and the entire team and staff of VistaCare Hospice.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 9, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 at Porter Loring.
