Bernice Sartalamacchia, passed away the morning of March 26, 2005. She was born September 20, 1921 in Cameron, TX. She was an active 83 year old woman who jazzercised regularly, enjoyed John Wayne movies and fell asleep listening to George Strait. She loved spending time with her family and working on word search and jigsaw puzzles. She loved the Spurs especially Tony Parker, and the Houston Astros.
She had a loving heart and kind personality that will be missed by all. Those whose lives she touched will be changed forever. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Sartalamacchia. Bernice is survived by her sisters, Wanda Rentfew and Ann Vance; daughters, Linn Eckart, and Patty Doby and husband Jerry; son, Tommy Sample and wife Stacy; grandchildren, Kim, Jerri, Tina, Brandi, Larry, Deanna, Chris, and Jesse. She had 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and one on the way.
