Mrs. Betty Kathryn Sullivan Garnett, widow of B.C. Bevo Garnett, daughter of John L. and Georgia E. Sullivan, all of whom preceded her in death, died February 3, 2005, at her home in San Antonio, Texas.
Mrs. Garnett was born January 8, 1909 in Seattle, Washington.
She was educated in Catholic schools in Seattle and Texas. She attended C.I.A. Now Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas.
For several periods of her life, she lived in San Antonio and was also a long-time resident of Corpus Christi.
Mrs. Garnett was preceded in death by her sons, Fred Manley Garnett and Robert Hendrie Garnett.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Garnett Wray, New Braunfels, Texas and John Sullivan Garnett and his wife, Emma K. of Brenham, Texas; daughter-in-law, Bettie A. Garnett of Grand Junction, Colorado; 16 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear friends and caretakers, Aurora B. Palomino and Paula W. Bentham.
