She was born May 22, 1930 in Shallowater, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale H. Knight; parents, John K. and Talley Giles; brother, Charles Giles; sister, Shirley McHugh; and son-in-law, Johnny Laminack.
She is survived by her children, Dale Rene Laminack, and Clay Marlin Knight and wife Suzie; grandchildren, Nikki Knight, Carly Laminack, Clay Knight, Sara Knight and Cassidy Laminack; sister, Sue Taylor of Lubbock, Texas; and sister-in-law, Jonna Austin.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
Interment will be held in Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock on Friday, March 22, 2013.
