Beverly Lynn Dicks

Beverly Lynn Dicks, age 59, passed away on Wednesday March 1, 2023 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on October 4, 1963 to Ralph and Nadine Goodlet. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend who will be dearly missed.

She was a proud TR High School Rough Rider. She earned her Legal Assisting degree from San Antonio College. Through her career, she served as a Property Manager, Paralegal and finally a substitute teacher for several schools. Her students loved her and called her Miss “D”. She truly had a Servant’s Heart as she actively supported church and youth activities. During any given year, you could watch her pour out her love to the numerous sports teams and organizations she championed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Nadine Goodlet.

She is survived by her husband, Tod Dicks (San Antonio, TX); siblings, Ralph Goodlet (Dallas, TX) and Stephanie Smith (Warner Robins, GA); children, Brandon Dicks (Miami, FL) and Bronson Dicks (Houston, TX) alongside their wives Stephanie and Madeline; and grandchildren, Nicholas, Philip, Kaitlyn, and Juliette (Miami, FL).

Visitation and funeral services for Beverly will be held at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. A funeral service will occur on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 2:00pm at the same location in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a committal at 3:00pm at Sunset Memorial Park and a reception thereafter in the Sunset Reception Hall.
