

Billie was born in Austin, TX, February 19, 1921, the daughter of Harold and Ida Maud Nivens. Her family moved to San Antonio when she was quite young and Billie graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1939.
She married the late Harry E. Nichols in 1946 and they raised three children: Penny, Charlie and Pam.
She and Harry were devoted to the Episcopal community and were among the founding members of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Flower gardening, travel, crossword puzzles, social bridge, reading, Bible study, and the beauty of nature were among her passions. She especially enjoyed the Hill Country and fishing on the Llano River.
She is much beloved by friends and family for her generous spirit, loving kindness and wonderful sense of humor.
Billie (B) will be deeply missed by her daughter, Pam Nichols and son-in-law Richard Leiter of San Rafael, CA; daughter-in-law Susan Bell of San Antonio; son-in-law Lloyd Cupp of Dahlonega, GA; and sister-in-law Joy Nivens of San Antonio.
Billie is also survived by four grandchildren: Trey Cupp, Amy Hundredmark, Heather Eikenberg and Hunt Nichols; and four great-grandchildren: Bret Hundredmark, Penelope Cupp, Acalia Nichols and Reece Eikenberg.
Billie is preceded in death by her husband Harry E. Nichols; children Penny Cupp and Charlie Nichols, and brother Hal Nivens.
