He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Norma, two sons Billy Jr. and Charles (Kelly) and three daughters, Karen (Joe), Sherry (David), and Amanda. Bill had 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He proudly served 24 years in the US Army and is a proud veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. After retiring, he continued by serving with the Federal civil service for 19 years, serving both Ft. Sam Houston PAO and Army MEDCOM. When not serving our country, he played guitar in many bands and entertained scores by playing music which was his second love after his family. Bill’s family was not just those that were related to him, but also anyone that his family brought home. Everyone called him Grandpa which was a name that made him the happiest and brought him great joy.
