Bob was such a wonderful friend to the Animal Defense League. We will miss his visits...

For the last six years, I have looked forward to seeing Bob on Monday evenings. His grace and wisdom always added to my serenity. 
Rest in peace Bob. We'll miss you.

As the former bookkeeper of St. Matthew's, I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to you all. Bob used to come to see me weekly and I always enjoyed my time with him! I only learned today, when I received the church newsletter, that Bob is no longer with us. I wish I could have made an appearence at the funeral. Know I am with you all in prayer. God bless you all!

Just received notice from classmate today Jan 24th at 3:00 pm. I want to relay to the family that Mr. Beaudro was a great teacher and mentor at Fox Tech Class 1972. He was so caring and friendly, and one of the only teachers I can still remember the name of. I, myself, joined the AF in 1975 and served 26 years. Probably because of Mr. Beaudro..anyway, God bless you all and you're in my prayers.

Mr. Beaudro was one of the nicest men anyone could ever meet. I hope memories of this wonderful man give you comfort in the days and weeks ahead. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Susanne

I feel very lucky to have known Bob. I will never forget how Bob would view the upcoming tours and always look for the "little ones" to tour. He loved the younger children and enjoyed showing them the fun things at the Institute. What a treat it was to just sit and visit with Bob on slow days. He had so many interesting stories to tell.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

BOB AND FAMILY YOU WILL BE IN OUR PRAYERS

Bob and Rosemary were our longtime best friends. We have had our feet under each other's table and arms around each other many times. We will cherish their memories forever.

Though I have only known Bob for two years, I was immediately drawn to his warm smile and engaging manner. A true gentleman, he brightened every day that he spent at the ITC and made the experience special for so many school children and museum guests. He will be greatly missed by all of us who were privileged to call him "friend." My deepest sympathy to Bob's family and the girls and to the many friends whose lives he brightened.

Bob really meant a lot to all his friends, particularly to the Institute of Texan Cultures. I am proud to say that it was I who encouraged him to join the Docents.

To the loving family of Bob Beaudro I wish to share with you some wonderful memories I have of this special man. I worked at The Institute for 22 years and saw Bob imparting his knowledge and experiences to very attentive schoolagers. We often laughed together and he always had a greeting and a nice word for me. He and Al were wonderful docents together and I so enjoyed talking with him. Just knowing Bob was a rare treat. You have my sympathy--he will not be forgotten.

I knew Col.Beaudro only a few years. I wish I had know him much longer. 
I always looked forward to his interesting conversations, which always ensued, especially about his exciting flying career. I cherish my memories of a good man.

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Bob and I go back a long way---from 1970 when he joined the Directors staff. We have lost a great guy. My condolences to the family. V.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the family. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Beaudro at Fox Tech H.S. and he always had time to chat and give advice and I took all his advice to heart. He was such a TALL and wise man he made an impression on me. To the family just know that your mom and pop are together again.

I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He was such a wonderful friend and supporter to the animals in San Antonio. He will be truly missed.

Bob and I taught together at Fox Tech and both were in the history department. We had many interesting conversations and discussions. He was a brilliant man and a great teacher and friend.

My parents and the Beaudros were the best of friends for over 60 years. I am sad that Uncle Bob has passed away, but I know he is being welcomed in heaven by Aunt Rosie, as well as my mom, Helena, and dad, T.H. Dear Family and Friends of Bob Beaudro, I was so saddened to see Bob Beaudro's photo and obituary in the Metro section of this morning's San Antonio Express News. My first reaction was, "Oh, no!" For many years, I was in charge of the Outreach/Tex-kit program at The Institute of Texan Cultures, where Bob was a faithful and dedicated volunteer. For some time, Bob was a VERY ACTIVE presenter of Tex-Kits out in schools, sharing with children artifacts and information about Texas Cowboys and Pioneers. What great job he did. I treasure memories of his beaming smile, enthusiasm for life, and his ever positive attitude, especially in the face of trials and difficulties. He was such an integral part of The Institute for so long that it will be hard to imagine the place without him. I count myself lucky to have known and worked with Bob. What a cheerful legacy he leaves. He led a good, full life, and I can imagine that now he is being rewarded richly in Heaven. My deepest condolences go to his family and close friends. Lea, a special hug goes to you. I know you will miss your brother. What a fine family youall have. That family must be a big comfort at a time like this. God bless you all! Best always, Sandra

Sandy & Family...The first time I met your dad...it was a time I will never forget. We had many days thereafter were I would sit and listen to his stories about flying. Being a veteran myself, I found it very interesting and proud to have known him. Proud to know that he fought for our country. I believe he will leave a legacy in many people's lives and hearts. The daughters of Leslie Maltsberger would like to express their deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Bob Beaudro. Col. Beaudro was a friend of our father and his friendship through the grief counseling group at Alamo Heights Methodist Church was a great comfort to my father when our mother died. The friendship between Col. Beaudro and Leslie Maltsberger was a blessing to both of them in their time of grief.
