Caleb was an extremely bright, happy and carefree child, while at the same time a mischievous 9-year old.
He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his parents and step-parents, Leslie and Stephen Shields, and John and Amanda Maxwell; his brother, Nicholas; his sister, Samantha; his grandparents, Michael Smith, Madonna and Vic Kerness, Mel and Arlene Maxwell, Doris Shields, and Steven and Ann Shields; his aunts and uncles, Randy and Lynne Cooper, Michael Smith II, Guy and Culley Maxwell and Beth and Ken Kincaid; his cousins, Amanda Willis, Trenton and Bradley Cooper, Tyler, Megan and Colton Maxwell, and Luke Levi and Mariah Kincaid.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hardy Oaks Elementary School, c/o Caleb Maxwell Sister School Fund, 22900 Hardy Oak, San Antonio, TX 78258, for purchase of books and supplies for their sister school.
