She was born in Frankfurt, Germany on November 1, 1913. "Kay" as she was known by her friends and family was preceded in death by her husband Harry Polan, her brother Harry Muhlstein, her sister Hilda Saeman, and her daughters Barbara Boiarsky and Carole Garrison.
She is survived by her daughter, Martha Polan Landsman and her son, Robert Joshua Polan; her granddaughters, Harriet "Missy" Berler, Betsy Levine, Susana Hill and Hilary Cohen; her grandsons, Marc Boiarsky, Robert Boiarsky, Broh Landsman and Brian Garrison; and many loving great-grandchildren.
