
Carlos A. Lozano, age 75, of San Antonio, passed away in his home on January 18, 2002. He was born in Laredo, Texas on November 25, 1926, the son of Conrado Lozano and Virginia Gutierrez Lozano. Carlos was a loving, thoughtful husband and father with a wonderful outlook on life. He touched many lives. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eulalia Tijerina Lozano, his daughter, Maria Alicia Lozano and his brother, Oscar Lozano. He is survived by his wife, Otilia Vidaurri Lozano; sons and daughters, Carlos A. Lozano, M.D. and wife, Dora; Raul C. Lozano; Herlinda T. Lozano; and Anna Maria Lozano. His grandchildren are: Annalisa, Adrianna, Carlos Andres, Jr., Elias, Alexandra, Sarah, Raul David and Amanda Lozano. His brothers and sisters are: Conrado Lozano; Oralia Williams; Yolanda Garza and husband, Raul Garza M.D.; Sylvia Trzaskoma and husband, Retired Lt. Gen. Richard Trzaskoma; sister-in-law Teresa Lozano; numerous nieces and nephews. He served in the Armed Services during World War II and later graduated from Texas A&M University, Class of 48, with a degree in Business. He earned a Masters Degree in Education from Our Lady of the Lake University. Mr. Lozano was a School Administrator in the Brownsville area and in San Antonio-Edgewood ISD. After retirement, he devoted his time to ranching and farming. A devoted and proud Aggie alumnus, he was a member of the San Antonio A Century Club and the Twelfth Man Assn. He was an active member of the Order of the Alhambra and the Sembradores de Amistad.
