We lost a gentle soul on July 4. Carl Creasy passed away after a days long battle with cancer. Carl would have completed 66 trips around the sun on July 25th. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 25, 1957 to Carolyn Jayne Gibson and Carlton Ray Virden and raised by his Father, Rev. Robert E. Creasy.
Carl was a “best” friend to almost everyone he met. Whether it was helping someone with their car problems or fishing and hunting with his TMI buddies, Carl could make you feel important and he had a genuine interest in you. He was a storyteller by nature and had a unique ability to capture your attention with his craft. From shooting a deer off the wing of a running airplane to growing up on an Indian reservation, Carl could leave you both amazed and scratching your head. Carl was an avid hunter. He could handle a shotgun better than most men and loved a competitive game of bushwacker. In his free time. He like to be on the lake fishing for bass. He taught all of his children how to fish, and enjoyed every opportunity to take his family out on the boat.
Carl was a long term and valuable employee and friend of Belden’s Automotive. From the owner to the guys and girls behind the scenes, everyone loved him. Several of his colleagues (brothers as they said), were by his side in the end and went beyond what is required to help him get his affairs in order.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Robert E Creasy; biological father, Carlton Ray Virden; daughter, Tiffany Jayne Johnson; and grandson, Kaleb William Troulliet. Carlton is survived by daughters, Kirsten Elizabeth Boivin and husband Richard, Amy Nichole Ramage, and Anne Marie Creasy; son, Carlton Ray Creasy III and wife Heather; mother, Jayne Creasy; sister, Beki Creasy Treadway and husband Mark; grandchildren, Marissa, Andrew, Sadie, Brody, Destiny, Tristan, Veronica, Rayf, Carlton IV, and Kloeigh; and great grandchildren, Braelynn, Penelope, Finley, Marlo, and Nikolia.
