Carmen O Silva

Carmen O. Silva, born on March 18, 1931 in Roma-Los Saenz TX, was called to be with our Lord on November 30, 2016, at the age of 85. She was married to Raul Silva on January 12, 1953. After living in Rio Grande City and Alice TX, they moved to San Antonio in 1957. She worked in Retail Sales at Joske’s and Dillard’s for a number of years. She enjoyed traveling with her family to National Parks, and enjoyed working on small garden she kept at her home.

Carmen is preceded in death by her parents, Alberto and Hercelia Olivares; brothers, Alvaro, Alberto, Amando, and her husband Raul Silva. She is survived by her children Raul and Gilbert, her grandchildren Selin, Vincent, Lauren, and Sydney. Her sister Clodin Olivares, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Visitation will be held from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2016, at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00p.m. A service will be held at the funeral home at 9:00a.m. Monday, December 12, 2016. Following the service the Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home to Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery for the interment ceremony Scheduled for 11:00a.m.
