Carole Jordan

Carole Hylen Jordan, born January 20, 1948, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2022. Carole was a longtime resident of San Antonio. She was a graduate of MacArthur High School and the University of Texas at San Antonio. In her early years, she was an elegant homemaker and raised three children. Once her children were grown, she finished nursing school and worked as a registered nurse. Throughout her life, Carole remained a lifelong servant of God. A devoted Catholic, volunteer, amateur artist, and loving mother and grandmother, Carole was adored by many friends and family.

She is survived by her brother, Charles August Hylen; children, Laurel Jordan Swift, Richard Michael Jordan Jr. and Mary Jordan Dalrymple; and her grandchildren, Mary Elise, Caroline Elaine and Hannah Kathleen Grassmuck; Ian Scott, Adam James and Katherine Claire Dalrymple; and great-granddaughter Leona Elise Klumpp.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022 at 10:30AM at St. Anthony de Padua Church, 102 Lorenz Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
