Carson V. Scott and Nellie Scott are my Grandparents. 

Carson V. Scott is a Retired, USAF MSGT. He is the husband of Nellie Mae Scott. He served in the Active United States Air Force from 1952-1972. 

During that time, he served as a Boom Operator for the KC-97 and KC-135. He also flew a number of missions that required he not talk about and kept him away from home for long periods of time, which left Grandma to tend to the Homefront to care for their two children, Sabrina and Rodney. On top of that, she knew that his next mission could be his last.

MSGT Scott was very proficient with his duties and always went above and beyond what was asked of him. There are many awards that show proof of the outstanding airman he was. But to me, he is a man that I looked up to most and tried to emulate. He is a man that I am glad to call, “Grandpa.” I wish that I told him what he meant to me. I thought I had more time, but that time was stolen from me. 

I will always cherish the moments I did spend with him and the conversations we had. Just know this, everything he and Grandma taught me will be passed on to my daughter, Hayley. She will carry on your LEGACY and WILL CONTINUE YOUR MISSION. 

The Scott's were our neighbors for almost 22 years. They will be missed dearly. My wife and I considered them an extention of our family. All of the passing conversations and gossip that we had throughout the years will never be forgotten. On Thanksgiving and Christmas  we would exchange deserts and gifts. Oh, how I will miss Mr. Scott's chocolate peanut  treats platter that he would bring to us, with his smile and kind hearted gestures. Always waving and smiling. He would bring in my trash and recycling bin all the time even though I would say you really don't have to do that for us. That's the guy I knew always doing something. My Last conversation with Mr. Scott was a week after his birthday in September he walked up to me in his frail yet still strong self and we spoke of life and how short it is. He talked about Mrs. Scott and how she went peacefully and of how he was at peace with it. He mentioned that he was also at peace with himself as well. When our conversation was over I told him we love you and we had a parting hug. Our hearts hurt and eyes water up but it's  like Mr. Scott said they had a good life. We will never forget our loving neighbors the Scott's. May they rest in peace in the kingdom of Heaven.

We will miss Carson tremendously at Casa Verde Farms. His kindness, respect and strength will always be remembered. We relive conversations, laughter, care and consideration that he showed every person. My in-laws, Rusty & June, had the occasion to travel on a couple of church trips together. All had wonderful times and made special memories & friendships. If there is anyone to emulate in life - it’s Carson “the Saw” Scott.  We are honored and we’re privileged to be in his presence. As he use to say: Nellie & I will be moving on soon and join June & Rusty in the afterlife. So grateful they are both free from bodies and home again together 🙏❤️Thank you 

My father Carson  & my self Rodney never saw eye to eye our relationship was not very good, but when I was appx. 40 years old my wife Juanita & myself went to visit my mom & dad which was always a very short visit , when we got home my mom called  & asked me what Juanita Carson's daughter in law did to him? I asked why mom replied he is acting weird very strange.. I asked  Juanita did you say something to dad?  She replied in the driveway she whispered that Jesus loves you & so do I  as of that day we Hug & throw kisses and spend more time together.. Love if Jesus changes everything. I always imagine what if I myself would have said those words to my Dad sooner ??? Thank you Jesus the words where spoken I was able to be with my mom & dad till the last days.. never put off giving the Love of Jesus for it could be to late..

Carson  was  a  great  caregiver  to his  wife  Nell..   very  support  of  Nell .      I  am originally  from  Lancaster  Wisc  … (  sister in law )   Also  had a  great  mother  ( Clarence )   .   Glad  to  keep  contract  with  Rodney  and  Sabrina .       Many  thoughts and  prayers  to his  family.         With  sympathy  from  Kathy  Scott

Carson Scott was my dad. First my mom passed away, then 2 months later my dad. I miss my mom and dad so much. I know that they are both at peace. I love you both to the moon and back ❤️❤️❤️
