He retired from City Public Service as an educational representative, and then continued to work in energy conservation, a personal passion.
An avid outdoorsman, Charlie was an accomplished hunter and fisherman. Charlie loved wild life and often took photos of animals in their natural habitat. He maintained the family farm, even finding and refurbishing their old tractor. He had great skills, good hands, inventing and then creating anything he needed to get the job done. He was kind with his words, modest in his actions, generous with his love and mentor to many.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon L. Neumann.
Survivors, children, Jennifer Geer and husband Charlie, and Monica Neumann; grandchildren, Jordan and Joshua Geer; brothers, James Neumann, Mark Neumann and wife, Debbie, and John Neumann and wife, Erin; sister, Carolyn Dejavanne; 11 nieces and nephews; and lots of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough.
