Charles R. Rodriguez

Charles R. Rodriguez, age 70, passed peacefully at home on November 21, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on September 14, 1947 to loving parents, Charles R. Rodriguez, Sr. and Virginia Ramos Rodriguez.

Charles met the love of his life, Joyce, at a dance when they were teenagers. Known for being the life of the party, he was always quick with a story and loved to make others laugh. He was a strong-willed individual who – despite his physical limitations later in life – carried his head high.

He was an entrepreneur who established his own limousine service in the 1980s. Through perseverance and hard work, the company – known as Fiesta Limousine Service – became the premier luxury provider in San Antonio and was dubbed the "Official Limousine Service of the San Antonio Spurs."

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Joyce Rendon Rodriguez; their three sons: Brandon Rodriguez and wife, Michelle; Justin Rodriguez and wife, Victoria and Damien Rodriguez and wife, Kristin; his loving ten grandchildren: Zachary, Chase, Miranda, Aidan, Addison, Olivia, Darren, Dane, Reid and Raleigh; three brothers: Salvatore, Federico and Marcus and one sister, Barbara; and numerous nephews and nieces.

A private memorial service will be held for the family to celebrate his life.
