

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Antone Green Sr. and Lucille Green; her beloved husband, Wesley Jay Merck Sr.; her sons, Thomas Charles Merck, M.D. and Wesley Jay Merck Jr.; her sister, Dorothy Kleinfelder; and her brother, Charles Green Jr.
Charlotte is survived by her devoted son, Gerald Merck II and his wife Richie; her cherished grandchildren, Kimberly Moore (Marc), Gerald Merck III (Micki), Jason Merck (Kristin), Jessica Merck (Sean Sutton), and her treasured great-grandchildren, Cameron Moore (Cat), Evan Merck, Jamie Merck, Jacob Merck, Ryan Merck, Waylon Merck, Penelope Merck, and Abby Merck.
Charlotte was a loving and caring woman who adored her family beyond measure. Her greatest joy in life was being surrounded by those she loved. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to caring for her husband and her sons, offering comfort, strength, and unwavering support when they needed her the most. Her selflessness and compassion were the foundation of her family.
She never met a stranger and had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. Her warm smile and kind heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Charlotte loved to travel and explore new places, embracing each adventure with enthusiasm. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, painting, and staying active through yoga, water aerobics, and walking her many dogs through the years. Her energy, creativity, and zest for life were truly inspiring.
Charlotte’s legacy is one of love, dedication, and kindness. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her spirit will live on in the many lives she touched.
