She joined the Air Force after high school. While stationed in Germany she met the love of her life, Rick, to whom she was married for 23 years. Cheryl and her family moved to San Antonio in 1993. She was very supportive as a Boy Scout mom and was most proud when her son received his Eagle Scout. Cheryl loved her pets, motorcycle riding, reading, and all her friends. She was a great friend and the best mom that a husband and son could hope for. There are no words for their loss.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Callahan and step-father, David Forbes, Sr., and mother-in-law, Geneva Britton.
She is survived by her husband, Rick Britton; son, Sean David Britton; mother, Nancy Forbes; step-mother, Donna Callahan; sister, Sheila Callahan; brother-in-law, Ronnie Britton; and numerous other relatives both near and far.
