You were born on Father's Day and you left us on Good Friday
Oh our beautiful baby boy. God blessed us with an Angel. You kept our feet planted to the ground and taught us the true meaning of love. From the minute you were born and we saw your face for the first time we knew you were going to be special.
AND SPECIAL YOU WERE. We had no idea of the laughter and smiles you were bringing to so many people you would meet along your path in life. You told us when you were little and several times in your life that you were an angel. You always told us there were angels around you and boy they were.
I'll never forget that time in the kitchen when I placed you in your car seat on the kitchen counter and I was cooking for the cowboys and you just started laughing and talking and I asked you who you were talking to and you said my friend. I asked you what your friend's name was and you said Danny.
Danny would always come see you. When I asked you where Danny lived you pointed up with your little finger and said "UP THERE WITH PAPAW AND NEENIE." We had never spoke about Neenie so I knew from then on it was going to be a wonderful journey. After that we always had to make a place at the table for Danny and a pillow beside yours for Danny when you went to bed.
So many people loved you and you taught us all the true meaning of love. With your beautiful smile and the touch of your hand and those hugs.
When we were at the Ranch you would sit in your little walker and wheelchair and you would watch all the cowboys ride off to work cattle and you would just cry and ask when you could go and I would tell you one day baby you will ride.
Well that's when the good lord put Billy Joe Henson in our lives and he built you that special saddle. And ride you did. You just screamed and hollered the first time Billy Joe put you in that special saddle he built just for you. Warden Glenn and Side and everybody that worked so hard to make it happen. Billy Joe's family. We brought your saddle home and boy did you ride. You were such a big boy. I cried like a baby with joy for the freedom Billy Joe had given you to ride.
The time we went back to visit and Billy Joe stuck you through the window and Side took you for a ride. You were screaming with excitement. Oh ! Side what a joy you brought to Cimmy that day.
When your dad and I went our separate ways God knew it would take an awful special man to care for us and boy did he pick the perfect one. He put Neil with us. The first time we met him you looked at him with those beautiful little eyes of yours and said "YOU MARRIED "? He smiled and said "NO" You said "YOU MARRY MY MOMMA "? You looked at me and said "What did he say"? And I said "Oh! I don't know "and we all started laughing. And the rest is history.

All the school bus drivers, especially Mr. and Mrs. Bible, and teachers, the aides, principals, school superintendants school nurses, Judges and attorneys, neighbors people just passing by and all the people that worked so hard to perfect your wheelchairs so they would be perfect just for you because boy howdy you could wear one out quickly. A Most Special Thank you to Dr. William Nyhan. When we first found out that Cimmy had Lesch/Nyhans we were given your number and when I called you were so kind and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. You explained everything to a "T". I want to thank you for answering my calls when Cimmy's behaviors would change and I would be crying you patiently listened and explained. When I could not reach you, you always returned my phone calls. I want to thank you for the time you flew from California when we needed you the most. God has such a special place for you in Heaven. Thank you for helping all the families with these special babies.
The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone;
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide;
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same;
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
