Clara Mae Staffel Michel, a lifelong resident of the city, born February 6, 1913 died Monday, December 17, 2001. She graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1931 and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She was the devoted wife for fifty-nine years of the late Robert J. Michel and loving mother of Robin Michel Spencer and David E. Michel. She is also survived by brother, Rudolf Staffel; son-in-law, Robert N. Spencer; and grandson, Edward T. Spencer.
