Concepcion R. Sanchez was born in San Antonio, TX on January 1, 1940 and entered eternal rest on May 18, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose M. and Mercedes Melchor Rubio; sister, Maria Grijalva and her brother, Fermin Grimaldo. Surviving are her children, Felix Sanchez III, Arnold Sanchez, Gary Sanchez, Laura Ramirez, Patricia Vasquez; 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Angelita Sanchez and brother, Jesse Rubio. Concepcion is also survived by her longtime love, Ruben Contreras. A Rosary will be recited at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2013 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 27, 2013 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. A reception will follow at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, 4547 Lord Rd.
