Our beloved Concha M. Hernandez was called home by her Lord and Savior October 2, 2010 in San Antonio at the age of 86. She was born to the late Jose and Adelaida Mendez April 29, 1924 in New Braunfels, Texas. She is preceded in death by a son, John Anthony Hernandez. Concha is survived by her husband of 59 years, Tomas J. Hernandez and ten children: Richard (Bernice) Gonzales, Mary Moran, Thomas Hernandez, Jr., Yvonne (Joseph) Hinojosa, Debbie (David) Way, Jerry (Beverly) Hernandez, Tim Hernandez, Mark Hernandez, Daniel (Erika) Hernandez, Rose Anne Perez; 24 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2010 with the holy rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
