Connie Lee Fairchild

Connie Lee Fairchild, age 71, went to be with our Lord on February 22nd, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 9th, 1952, in Pikeville, KY to Phineas and Anna Chaney.

Connie was a kind and caring person who always put her family and friends first. Whenever you were with her you always were, and always felt important. She wasn’t one to sit still for long and liked to stay busy and productive with a work ethic second to none. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow. Spending time relaxing outdoors and being at the beach brought her joy beyond measure. She never let a good time go to waste and made the most out of every moment. Her gentle and generous soul left an everlasting mark on everyone she met. When talking to her you could always tell she genuinely cared what you had to say, and it didn't matter how long it had been since you had seen her last. She was everyone's friend, everyone's grandma, just the sweetest soul we were all lucky to know and love.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents and sister. She is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Kevin Fairchild; sons David Fairchild and wife Taylor, Jeff Glassnor and wife Rebecca, and Rodney Glassnor; grandchildren, Chandler, Drake, Jevon, Rodney Jr., and Phoenix; great-granddaughter Evelyn; brother Bo Sawyer; and many cousins.
