Cristina was a bright light in the lives of those who knew and loved her. Her kind heart, radiant smile, and gentle spirit touched everyone she met. She loved cooking, making music and art, reading, and animals. She brought warmth and joy into the world around her.
She will be deeply missed by her mother Jeannie Odom; her son Gus Mitts; her grandparents John and Nora Moore, and Guy and Beverly Schuler; her extended family, and her many friends who will forever carry her in their hearts.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Thursday, August 28th, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in San Antonio from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Family and friends are welcome to gather and honor her memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Animal Defense League of Texas - San Antonio, in Cristina’s honor. Cristina’s family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses at St. David's Hospital, North Austin.
Forever loved, forever missed—her light will shine on as “Sunshine in our Hearts.”
