Daniel J Shanta

Daniel was born in Pittsburgh, PA to Donald F. Shanta Sr. and Dorothy (Aljoe) Shanta on March 4, 1960. He graduated in 1978 from Burrell High School, located in Lower Burrell, PA. Afterward he attended Duquesne University, and the University of Las Vegas (UNLV). He was a Manager at CVS/Caremark in the San Antonio, TX offices.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Donald & Dorothy Shanta, paternal grandparents, Frank & Victoria (Mento) Shanta and maternal grandparents Walter & Helen (Wojciechowski) Aljoe.

Daniel is survived by siblings Donald F. Shanta Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Dana Shanta of Lower Burrell, PA and Dale & Lisa Shanta of Freeport, PA, as well as several relatives.

There will be no public services scheduled at this time. As per Daniel’s wishes, he will be cremated with his ashes to be placed with his parents at St. Mary’s Cemetery, located in Lower Burrell, PA.
