'My Uncle Danny is the sweetest man, with one of the best smiles.He looks Just like my papa.I remember when Madison was a baby and she got so confused when she saw my Uncle Danny.She would call him Papa, until she saw my papa walk up. I remember when my mom, my brother, my best friend, and I stayed the night at his house.Him and my Aunt Alice were so nice, I asked my mom if we could stay with them sometimes when we visit Texas, becuase we usually stay with my Uncle Pete, my mom said yeah.I'm gonna miss seeing my Uncle Danny in Texas, and I wish I could've made it, and I wish he could've seen my baby Christopher. I know Uncle Danny talks to him a lot and watches over him though, because Baby Chris is always talking and smiling while we just sit and watch.I always tell my grandma and mom. I'm gonna miss you, Uncle Danny.Please watch over us and please give my Papa strength.He misses you a lot and is still feeling the hurt.We all are. I think about you all the time,especially when I see my baby smilling at someone we can't see. I love you.'

'I had the great privelege of working with Danny for a couple of years at zone one. I know I can speak for everyone who knew Danny. He was such a fun loving, light hearted friend. He would do anything for us. All the supervisors and his peers knew what an enjoyable man he was. At work, he was well known for his superb sheet metal skills. When he was assigned, even the most complex jobs, he could make it seem like an enjoyable hobby, always joking around in his silly way. He always kept us in good spirts, and even though were about the same age, he was like a brother, a father, and a close friend. I certainly did enjoy knowing Danny. GOD Bless.'

'Our condolence, and blessing to my sister Alice, and my nieces whom I love so very much. I just wanted to say how very special Danny is to me. He is a wonderful,genuine,loving, and caring Husbend,father,brother, and friend. Danny was special to me in the way of not just a brother inlaw. He was the father figure in the life's of many of us. Danny didn't need to tell us he loved us even though he said it all the time. We alway's have known. Always kind never selfish or vain. always there for us if we needed him. When I was a little girl at the time when Alice and Danny were dating, I was alway's in there way. My sister of course wanted to be alone with Danny. And I always wanted to be around them. At times, Many times I got my way, when they would leave on a date. It wouldn't be long before Danny would turn the corner, come right back to our house and take me with them on their date. I have to say that you were a Big inspiration in my life. For some strange reason I remember an incident as a kid where you were able to somehow talk me into placing a firecracker in my hand and hold as it was lit. Yea, some "Mexicano" I was. LOL. 
Tio, you were a physical presence that I envied. I would dream of being as tall as you. Well, I may have not have reached it, but maybe those prayers went unanswered so that my son Joshua would be blessed. 
You were also quite a Father to those young ladies. I remember those times running into you and the girls on the road, while you were taxing them to Saturday Prep classes, or taking them out to enjoy their love of music. 
The support that you provided to the young ladies in their education, and advice you offered to me as a young father was special. It definetly helped me with raising my children. 
Yes, I will certainly miss you. 
I don't know why the Lord sought you out, but, I have always believed that he takes the GOOD ones when he seeks those blessed to be with him. 
I know that Grandma will be waiting with open arms for you. 
Uncle Danny, we shall see each other again someday, and I pray that you will remember the "Mexicano" that Grandpa asked Mom and Pops to bring home.
