While attending Clinical Pastoral Education at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in San Antonio, TX, Dan and I became good friends. After he left for the Army National Guard and I for the Air Force, we lost contact. Last year I heard of Dans death and my heart was saddened. His memories, advise, friendship, and mentorship helped me become a better person, chaplain, husband, and father. May our Lord guard and guide the Harrison family until we gather again in heaven. Blessings!

Dan served as one of my chaplains in the 75th Division. He always exceeded the requirements and I could count on him accomplishing the mission. He was a tremendous soldier and equally great a person. I will miss him deeply. God's grace to all the family. God will sustain you through these times.
