Daniel R. Mr. Wright

Daniel R. Wright, age 84, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018. He was born on April 2, 1933 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Daniel R. and Evelyn (Carpenter) Wright.

Dan was very proud of his Irish heritage and especially enjoyed Irish music and poetry. He was a family man and adored his grandchildren. Betsy AKA Boop was his joy in life and their marriage was a blessing to them and the family. He proudly served our country during the Korean War. Always a hard worker, after 35 years of service working for a chemical company, he went on to work another 11 years in banking. He enjoyed golfing and was an artist in acrylics and charcoals.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Wright and son, Daniel R. Wright. Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Elizabeth Wright; daughter, Denise Schwartz and husband, William; son, Robert Wright and wife, Susan; daughter, Maura Kraus and husband, Stephen; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Wright; and grandchildren, Megan O'Dell, Brian O'Dell, Robert O'Dell, Daniel Wright, Sean Wright, Amanda Wright, Charlotte Wright, Eric Kraus, Erin Kraus, Lauren Kraus, and Kirsten Kraus.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Porter Loring Mortuary North
