He was born December 8, 1961, in Riverside, California.
David retired from the US Air Force in 2002 and soon after began working at the Lackland Base gym. He loved sports and was a beloved team member of the Lackland Warhawks.
He is survived by son, Kenny Curbey; daughter, Jessika Curbey, both of San Antonio; parents, Gary and Datha Curbey; sister, Davenda Russell; brother, Dewey Curbey; sister, Denys Maguire all of Marshall; companion Susan Weston of Castroville; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
