David Hernandez, 68, was born August 22, 1953 and passed away on October 18,2021 after a brief illness at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. David was born in Laredo, Texas and graduated from Martin High school.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Hernandez; son, Michael Hernandez (Nina); daughter, Christina Tijerina (Luis); sisters, Eva Lara (Valentine), Mary Moreno (Hector), Becky Olivares (Richard), Raquel Hernandez (Jaime Moncayo), & Jo Ann Fernandez (Juan); brothers, Bobby Hernandez (Deanna) & Omar Hernandez; grandchildren, Jonathan D Tijerina, Luis A Tijerina Jr, Justin T Tijerina, Zachary Hernandez, Michael Hernandez Jr, Brooke Curtis, Ashly Curtis, and Renee Curtis along; with many nephews and nieces.
David is preceded in death by his father, Encarnacion Hernandez Sr.; mother, Julia Zamora Hernandez; brothers, Pedro Hernandez & Encarnacion Hernandez Jr.; and nephew Pedro Hernandez Jr.
David was loved by so many and will be dearly missed. It was at Davids request no service be held. He wanted a celebration of his life among close family and friends to be held in his honor.
