David Bruce Otwell passed away December 11th, 2023. He grew up in San Antonio. Went to St Pius. Graduated from Douglas MacArthur in 1974. He graduated from Austin College in 1978. David was the Public Affairs Officer for the Texas Department Of Highways and Transportation, TXDOT, until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Dorothy, his Father, Buford T. and Sister, Kathleen Otwell. David loved music and the Spurs. He attended many concerts and games. He enjoyed water skiing, hunting and fishing with his many friends. David will be laid to rest beside his Mom and Dad on Friday December 29th 2023 at Sunset Memorial, 1701 Austin Highway at 11am.
