David Clark Pryor, age 68, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Dallas, Texas to parents, Guy C. and Etha Merle (Petty) Pryor. His parents have preceded him in death.
David is survived by his brother, Stephen Pryor (Kathryn) of Wichita, Kansas and niece, Christina Comiskey (Greg) of Overland Park, Kansas. He worked for many years at Our Lady of the Lake Convent and University. He was a graduate of the University of North Texas with a bachelor's degree in history.
David was a consummate historian with a special knowledge of all things about the Civil War. He was also known for his amazing unfailing memory whether it was reciting scripture or words to pop songs from the 60s.
The family wishes to thank Randy and Nancy Pollock and Glenda Moody for their special and loving concern and care for David.
The family also wishes to thank the staff of the St. Francis Nursing Home for their care during the last few months of his life.
