Dennis E. Plummer was born in Colver, PA on February 19, 1948 to Glenn & Alice (Burket) Plummer and entered eternity on Saturday, November 12, 2011. Dennis was loving, affectionate and kind hearted. His wife said it was an honor to be married to him. He was a member of the Country Church in Marion, TX. Dennis retired as a MSGT from the Air Force after 21 years of service. He was preceded in death by his sister, Gina Black. Surviving are his wife, Nancy; children, Michael A. and Brian A. Plummer; step-children, Michelle & Michael Davenport; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Davenport; one grandson; and siblings, Duane, Bill Plummer, Pauline, Vonnie Lesniak; brother-in-law, John Pardue. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 18, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Country Church in Marion, 1005 FM 78 Marion, TX 78124. Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, November 21, 2011 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery and a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2011 at the Country Church in Marion, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Country Church in Marion, TX.
