Dolores Helen Pocatille Gray, age 82, of San Antonio, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008. She was born May 1, 1926 in Union City, New Jersey to Charles and Elsie Eiermann Pocatille, who preceded her in death.
Dolores was an executive secretary with Exxon International for 28 years, retiring in 1988.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James Kinloch Gray; her stepmother, Matilda Pocatille; brother, Mervin Polk and wife, Ruth; brother, Charles Pocatille and wife, Dorothy; and brother in law, Andrew Wallace.
Dolores is survived by her son, John Andrew Gray; daughter, Nancy Elizabeth Gray Murphy and husband, Lester; grandson, Matthew Robert Murphy; granddaughter, Rachel Elizabeth Murphy; sisters in law, Elizabeth Wallace and Agnes Paterson and husband, Edward; numerous nieces, nephews and good friends including "sisters in life," E. Jane Robison and Ruth F. Stewart. A private interment, for the family, will be in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
