He was born January 5, 1923, in Cleburne, Texas, to the late Roy and Stella Franks.
Don proudly served his country in the US Army during World War II.
He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alyce and her son, Gary R. Pfingston.
Don is survived by his daughter-in-law, Marsha A. Pfingston; and grandsons, Mark R. Pfingston and Brad W. Pfingston.
