Dorothy Rosenberg Fractor passed away January 18, 2009. Dorothy was born in the Bronx, New York to Hyman and Yetta Rosenberg. She moved to San Antonio in 1946 with her husband, Sam Fractor. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sam, and her sister, Eleanor Rosenberg Law. She is survived by her son, Zane and his wife, Jann; daughter, Nancy and her husband, Robert Friedman; brother, Ed Rosenberg; two nieces; two grandchildren, Ian O'Regan and Graham O'Regan; and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Fred Wartell, Anthony Pierulla, Ian O'Regan, Graham O'Regan, Monty Baer, David Briones, and Honorary Pallbearer Michael Hutchinson. Dorothy loved to cook and was recognized for her award winning blintz recipe. She especially enjoyed cooking latkes with her grandchildren. Dorothy was an active member of B'nai Brith Women and founded the B'nai Brith Women's bowling league. She also enjoyed music and dancing.
