She was born in Eagle Lake, Texas on August 22, 1911. Dottie was a beloved mother, devoted grandmother and great grandmother.
In the early years of her life she lived in many different states but was a resident of San Antonio for the last 40 years. She enjoyed her many friends and the camaraderie of her memberships in Timely Topics, The Reading Club, and the Laurel Heights Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents Eleanor S. Brown Kersey and Sandford H. Brown and her brother Sandford H. Brown, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Sidney Mygatt and three granddaughters and their husbands: Kimberly and Michael Hammett, Lauren and Michael Mullen, Heather and Steve Kelch and two great grandsons Ryan and Cory Hammett all of Los Gatos, California and the surrounding area. She is also survived by a cousin Wilbur Baber of Hallettsville, Texas.
