Dorothy Johnson Staffel, age 71, of San Antonio died Wednesday, December 13, 2000. She was the wife of the late Gerald Staffel. Born and raised in Weimar, Texas on November 26, 1929 to Lester L. Johnson and Erna Koehn Johnson. Mrs. Staffel was active in Colonial Hills United Methodist Church, Castle Hills Women's Club and Wedgwood Game Club. Survivors include children, Marlin K. Brown and wife, Kathy; Gerald K. Staffel and wife, Sharon; Dr. J. Gregory Staffel and wife, Marian; Anne Staffel Haas and husband, Roy; John W. Staffel, her Iranian son Mehran Mostajir; 6 grandchildren, Ross, Erick, Zachary, Alex, Jacob, and Jon; great-grandson, Korwynn; sister-in-law Patricia Staffel Carter; brothers-in-law Ferdinand Staffel and Dr. Edward Staffel; cousins Wilbert Koehn, Elvin Koehn and E. Dale Koehn; nieces and nephews.
