Doug was born in Fort Walton Beach, FL. He was a member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, Universal City, TX.
Survivors include his wife Dawn Sanders of 22 years; children, Bryan Sanders and Brianna Sanders; Father, Gerald Sanders; sister, Connie Andrews; grandmother, Anne Sanders.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Sanders; grandparents, Thomas (Bush) Morgan and Lucille Morgan, grandfather Williard Sanders
